Run a GIWA node

Docker node stack

Official node stack and operator guide for running GIWA infrastructure instead of relying only on hosted RPCs.

liveGIWA Docs + GitHub

Overview

Running a GIWA node is the self-operated path for teams that need direct chain data, transaction submission, or infrastructure control. GIWA docs point operators to the official giwa-io/node repository and explain that node sync can take time.

The operator docs call out minimum and recommended hardware, the need for an Ethereum L1 RPC because GIWA is an L2, and snapshots as a faster setup option.

Good for

  • Official repository for running GIWA node infrastructure
  • Relevant for teams with higher reliability or control requirements
  • Snapshots can help reduce initial sync time

Notes

  • Node operation consumes time and hardware resources; GIWA docs suggest using hosted node services when RPC access is sufficient.
